Im an australian and this issue doesn't affect me directly but it has the potential to send ripples my way!

It's all about internet radio and the provision of service being under attack in the US by none other than RIAA!

The article discusses how alot of independent internet stations are going to be forced into bankruptcy as a result of the forced unimaginable increases in mandatory royalties to be paid out to content owners.

These internet stations have no issue with paying royalties, but where they once were paying 10-15% of there revenue now there going to be forced to pay over 100% (hence bankruptcy).
